AMAN ADINEW

A U.S. national and Ethiopian native, Aman has more than two decades of experience in revenue management, marketing, operations and international business, spanning a range of service industries including commodity exchange (Ethiopian Commodities Exchange – ECX), express delivery and logistics (DHL Express), air transportation (Northwest Airlines), manufacturing (3M), entertainment international trade (AIT, Inc.) and consulting (Profit Advantage Group). He is exceptionally skilled at helping companies achieve aggressive growth and profitability goals. Prior to launching METAD, Aman served as the Chief Operations Officer of the ECX, seconded from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). In this capacity, he was responsible for ECX’s business operations – notably, quality certification and control, inventory management and warehousing. He also worked closely with key players in the coffee industry, including policymakers, growers, brokers, exporters and international buyers. Aman holds an MBA in marketing and strategic management from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management, and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Augsburg College in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
